"Inselberg" meaning a peak rising abruptly from a plain, is the metaphorical embodiment of what a man can achieve when he simply dares to dream. Inselberg Wines is a premium small batch wine label that believes in crafting the perfect wine to match every chapter of the journey that is life. A wine that will stand out. A life lived to its fullest. Our wines are handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. We use only the finest grapes from the finest vineyards to create wines that are truly exquisite.
Our philosophy is simple - we want to raise the standards for ourselves and those around us. Chasing dreams and inspiring others to do the same. Our Team
Inselberg Wines is owned by Booysen Family Wines. The Booysen Family is a young and ambitious married couple. Moving from the big city, with their hopes, dreams and french bulldog - Bentley. Moving to chase their dream of sipping wine as the sun sets over the Cape mountains on a daily basis. This passion for wine translated into a small passion project of showing the world that you can choose the life you want to live. As a result, Inselberg Wines was founded in 2022.
Inselberg's wine flight has the same progression as all great stories etched in history. An idea is not enough, someone was pushed to move. A catalyst starts the journey. Starting was not enough. The history books are filled with false starts and people that gave up. Those that were resolute, persevered. Then only can one taste the triumph of reaching a goal. Whether you taste triumph or not, life is a journey. You can only endeavor to live a life worth living and at the end look back and reflect on your journey.
